PM Modi to address the nation today at 10 AM
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation today at 10 AM. As the 21-day lockdown comes to its end, people were waiting for decision of the Prime Minister on the future course of action against the Coronavirus pandemic.
Several states including Maharashtra, West Bengal, Punjab, Odisha, Telangana and Arunachal Pradesh have already extended the lockdown in wake of the soaring Covid-19 cases across the nation.
According to Ministry of Health & Family Welfare ‘India’s total number of Coronavirus positive cases rise to 9352 including 8048 active cases, 980 cured/discharged/migrated and 324 deaths .
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is using cutting edge technology at all levels for timely response at district administration level to COVID-19.
The implementation of the action plan has started yielding appreciable results in 25 districts across 15 States which reported cases earlier.
These districts have no case reported since the last 14 days and constant vigil is being maintained to ensure that no new cases may occur in future.
According to the Prime Minister’s intructions, all ministers of the Narendra Modi cabinet went back to their ministries on Monday physically, to resume work that was so far being done from home through video conferencing, in wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
